This field should only be returned where the student is an incoming exchange student. This also records which incoming exchange students are part of the ERASMUS+ scheme.
Less information is required for incoming exchange students. Therefore the return of this field will exclude the students from the coverage of several field/entities in the model. For example, module data is not required for incoming exchange students.
EU programmes
ERASMUS+ or ERASMUS Plus is the EU programme which combines all the EU's current schemes for education, training, youth and sport. This includes Lifelong Learning Programme (ERASMUS, Leonardo da Vinci, Comenius and Grundtvig), the Youth in Action programme, the five international co-operation programmes (ERASMUS Mundus, Tempus, Alfa, Edulink and the programme for co-operation with industrialised countries).
All incoming ERASMUS+ students (including Postgraduate ERASMUS+ Mundus and ERASMUS+ Action 1 students) should be coded as 01 Incoming ERASMUS+ student.
This field should not be used to record cases of a formal collaboration with a non-UK provider. These collaborative arrangements would generally involve the student being registered at both providers with study at one provider being a pre-requisite for study at, and award of qualification from, a provider in the UK. These arrangements should be recorded in CollaborativeProvision.COLPROVTYPEID.
