Description
The unique identifier for the qualification.
Notes

This identifier is defined by the provider and must be unique across all Qualifications.

This is used to associate the Qualification with the relevant Course and/or QualificationAwarded through the Course.QUALID and QualifcationAwarded.QUALID fields.

Providers should keep identifiers consistent across collections wherever possible.

If identifiers do need to be changed, this cannot be done if the Qualification has been associated with a student in any of the previous three collections. This includes where a dormant student was associated with the Qualification before going dormant, even if they were not returned since becoming dormant. I.e. the ID can only be changed three reference periods after all associated Engagements have been closed.

Reason Required
To uniquely identify Qualification entities, to enable these Qualification entities to be linked to Course and QualificationAwarded entities.
