Providers in England

One subject must be identified as the specialism for Qualifications where the associated course leads to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the student is a secondary teaching training student.

For primary teaching training students on a course leading to QTS, this is optional.

For a list of valid subjects for primary and secondary programmes, please see further guidance on returning DfE programmes.

For English Providers, continuing students who started their course before 01 August 2019, Primary PE Specialists (previously coded as JACS C690) and non-specialists (previously coded as JACS C600) should be coded as 100433 - sport and exercise sciences. 100433 is no longer a primary specialism option for courses starting from 01 August 2019.

Providers in Scotland
