Notes
Where this field is returned, under normal circumstances it is expected that at least one OffVenueActivity entity be returned for the StudentCourseSession to record the details of the study abroad activity. An OffVenueActivity however is not required when the student is mainly studying overseas for the duration of their course and for students who are writing-up.
Where no study abroad activity is undertaken, this field is not returned.
Where applicable, a combination of this field and the StudentCourseSession.PLACEMENT field can be returned.

To monitor the prevalence of study abroad activity, to identify the number of students studying outside the UK, to assist in population definitions.
