| Description | This field records the date that the initiative is valid from. |
| Notes | This field must be returned for all initiatives to record the date the initiative is valid from. This may align with the start of the Course or the point at which the initiative was introduced or became applicable to the Course. Combined with CourseInitiative.COURSEINITVALIDTO this therefore records the period that the initiative is valid for. In cases where a long running course has held an initiative for an unknown amount of time, the COURSEINITVALIDFROM needs to cover a period that would include all active or dormant students associated with the Course. All date fields must be completed using the ISO8601 format of YYYY-MM-DD |
