Notes | Credit accumulation and transfer schemes allow students to collect credit for work already completed, if they decide to terminate their study before achieving a complete award. If and when they resume their studies, not necessarily at the same provider, they may be able to carry forward the credits from their previous study. Valid entry 91 must not be returned by providers in Wales. Where Module.CRDTSCM=91 (no scheme), Module.CRDTPTS should not be returned as there is no credit point scheme. Providers in England and Northern Ireland should not return a value in Module.CRDTPTS where credit transfer schemes are coded 03 and 90 in Module.CRDTSCM. For providers in Scotland this field must be coded 01. The only exception to this rule is students for whom Qualification.QUALCAT begins D or L, who can be coded 91 in this field. |
