Description
The field records the unique identifier for the Venue.
Notes

This identifier is defined by the provider and must be unique across a provider's submission.

The identifier is then returned in the StudyLocation.VENUEID field to associate the Venue with the StudentCourseSession(s) where students are at that Venue.

Providers should keep identifiers consistent across collections wherever possible.

If identifiers do need to be changed, this cannot be done if the Venue has been associated with a student in any of the previous three collections. This includes where a dormant student was associated with the Venue before going dormant, even if they were not returned since becoming dormant. I.e. the ID can only be changed three reference periods after all associated Engagements have been closed.

This identifier should match values used in the Campus.CAMPID field of the Provider Profile return.

Reason Required
To uniquely identify Venues and allow them to be linked to the students studying at them.
