Notes

Teacher training accreditation

For student in England and Wales on teacher training courses (where Course.TTCID = 01 or 02), this entity must be returned to record the specific accreditation from the Department for Education (England) or the Education Workforce Council (EWC).

Health and Social Care accreditations

Accreditations from the Nursing and Midwifery Council, the General Dental Council and the Health Care Professions Council only should be recorded.

Generic accreditation

Where the associated Course has a generic accreditation (CurriculumAccreditation.CURACCID = 05802, 06920 or 11108), this entity records the specialism once the student has specialised.

Before the student has specialised, this entity should not be returned.

It is expected that specialisms would have been established by the students final year.

Multiple accreditations

Where the associated Course has multiple accreditations and the student specialises, this entity should be returned to reflect this specialism.

If the associated Course has multiple accreditations and students who successfully complete the Course achieve each of these, this entity is not required.
